On Thursday May 1st, BTPI welcomed Dr Anatoly Levshin, (Harvard University), for two events to discuss his research on artificial intelligence and geopolitics. Levshin explored how AI is likely to catalyze systemic transformations, highlighting oracular foresight and virtuosic creativity as features of AI which states will use to advance their interests. Additionally, he analyzed the possibility of abductive AI impacting the future battlefield at both a command and operational level.
