Graduate Certificates
The MPA Program offers three graduate certificate programs, which are open to current graduate students in good academic standing:
Environmental Finance and Impact Investing (EFII) Fellows
Through a series of courses, coupled with applied projects, EFII Program Fellows will be trained to invest in, manage, or regulate businesses or projects seeking financial, environmental, and/or social goals. Fellows will gain experience in a range of topics, including finance and analytics, markets and regulation, science and technology, and economic and political analysis. In addition, they will be required to engage in professional learning opportunities that will include internships and hands-on, applied projects with investors, industry, government, and the NGO community.Infrastructure Project Management and Finance (IPMF) Fellows
This certificate program is designed for students who are interested in working in the infrastructure space in planning, finance, project management, and/or operations role, and/or who want to gain a deeper understanding of issues related to infrastructure.Systems Thinking, Modeling, and Leadership (STML) Certificate
The STML Certification is a two year program for Brooks MPA Students and/or Cornell graduate students who wish to dive more deeply into the systemic issues faced by policy makers, scientists, organizational leaders, activists, and social entrepreneurs. Systems Thinking is one of the most sought after skills of employers and it is a foundational skill in the modern world.
These certificate programs provide you with specific knowledge and tools for working in the respective area of study. The additional credentials that these certificates provide may offer you a competitive edge in your future careers.
