Ron Christie is Founder and CEO of Christie Strategies, a communications firm in D.C., and author of Blackwards (2012), Acting White (2010), and Black in the White House (2006). He has held fellowships at Harvard, USC, and UVA. Christie serves on the Executive Advisory Council of the George W. Bush Presidential Center and the board of the Bipartisan Policy Center. He previously served as a Special Assistant to the President for George W. Bush and Deputy Assistant to Vice President Cheney for Domestic Policy. He holds a law degree from the George Washington University National Law Center.
