Graduate Real Estate Research Analyst Summer Internships

Exciting opportunity to work with a national real estate team on one of three thought leadership topics:
• Adaptive Reuse Feasibility & Valuation of High Vacancy Office Buildings
• Clean Intermodal Rail, Transit Oriented Development, & Public Infrastructure P3 Projects
• Land Value Capture and Economic Public Infrastructure ROI models

Please submit your resume, related project description experience, and/or samples of student papers supporting your interest and study on the above topics. Passionate interest in any of the above topics is enough to qualify. We need innovative thinkers and diligent researchers. The intern will interface and survey industry leaders on the topic areas. Further detail on the requirements on each business line will be provided before the interview process.
Please feel free to write a short statement of interest on the above topic(s) of choice and/or ask questions.

Must be a Full-Time Real Estate and/or Infrastructure graduate student in good standing, preferably in their last year of study. This is a part-time 20 hour/week summer internship potentially leading to additional work/hours in the fall and/or spring semesters of the 2024-25 school year.

The foundational research conducted during this internship would be perfect for a student looking at completing an independent study, capstone course, or thesis paper. The intern will be operating with an pre-assembled bibliography on the topic and searching/reviewing industry news and trade periodicals for related information. The positions are for two months of work at this point that could support initial research and could be continued in the fall and spring semesters. Preferably, based upon performance, graduate students could enterprisingly create their own jobs with our company and/or be introduced another through the survey/ interview process.

The internship is predominantly remote and possibly in-person if you are in the same area of our offices nationwide. Some GIS platform experience and/or other mapping ability, including Maptitude, XL spreadsheet geocoding, etc would be helpful. The intern will need the full Office 365 suite (including PowerPoint), Adobe Professional, and Google account. Good interpersonal skills and education in real estate, finance, economics, and/or engineering are major pluses.
Interested applicants should send their resumes, related paper and project experience, and statement of interests to ircinc1@verizon.net.
