The Center on Global Democracy is seeking applicants for its Undergraduate and Master’s Democracy Fellows Program for the 2025-2026 academic year. A select set of students will be chosen through a competitive application process. Students from all majors and academic cohorts are welcome to apply, though we expect core topics related to global democracy to feature in their academic interests and work.

Fellows will work closely with center leadership and affiliates through research assistance and participating in a set of events and convenings geared toward learning, discussion, and sharing of ideas and perspectives.   Responsibilities include approximately three hours of research assistant work per week on average, with flexibility across the year. Fellows will also attend bi-monthly planning meetings, and participate in colloquiums which serve as a discussion platform for key events and trends in global democracy. Finally, fellows will have the opportunity to present a research project alongside graduate students at our end-of-year research forum. The Center will continue to evolve its programming over the following year, including the creation of non-resident and faculty-led research clusters, which Democracy Undergraduate Fellows will have the opportunity to support.
